Job Description:

The Landscape Installation Technician, working with a crew of two to three team members, will install landscape projects such as planting trees and shrubs; seeding and sodding lawns; building/installing steps, sheds, home skirting and other related landscape services.

Daily activities include installation of:

• Maintain/refresh existing landscaped areas
• Build sheds/steps in climate-controlled warehouse
• Install home skirting
• Plant trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials
• Seeding and sodding lawns
• Other related hardscape or softscape projects.

Experience:

• Landscape construction
• Hardscape Installation
• Working knowledge of horticultural practices
• Heavy landscape equipment safety, use and care

Candidate must have a desire to complete projects on time and within budget while meeting MCM Construction’s quality standards and ability to work with team members, vendors, and residents in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Must have the ability to perform repetitive lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to physically operate heavy machinery, commercial walk behind mowers, and other power equipment. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Licenses:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License

Compensation

• $22 - $25 hourly
• Biweekly Pay (Direct Deposit)
• Paid Time Off: 5 Days
• Vacation: 10 days
