Summary
Southern Pines Academy is a 5 star rated child developmental center providing full-time care for children ages 1-5. We focus on enhancing social-emotional skills and seeing conflict as learning opportunities to teach missing skills.
We are currently looking for one lead teacher for our toddler classroom, working with children 1-2 years old and one lead teacher for our infant classroom working with children 6- 12 months old.
Duties
Creating weekly developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Following and implementing lesson plans.
Creating nature-based activities
Participating in Farm to ECE garden and other agricultural activities
Properly interacting with children.
Supervising children.
Willing to learn current child care techniques as appropriate.
Maintaining classroom appearance and organization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Associates degree
North Carolina state qualification letter and background check.
Nice To Haves
Willing to take professional development courses.
