Logistics & Inventory Specialist - 60% remote (in office and travel 2 days per week) **Quick Apply Option Available**

Job Purpose is to ensure the proper movement flow of product to various locations for processing and to maintain optimal and accurate inventory management practices and records.

Logistics Role:

• Being the first point of contact for our third-party logistics partners and procure their services
• Coordinating with transportation providers and shipping/receiving contacts to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Keeping detailed records of physical material movements and performing movements in our ERP system once the physical movements are confirmed
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Analyzing and monitoring costs, source cost-savings solutions, and acting upon cost-saving initiatives wherever discovered.

Inventory Management Role:

• Ensuring that the ERP system and third-party inventory reports accurately reflect the items, counts, and statuses of the physical inventory
• Performing regular stock checks and reporting and rectifying any issues
• Update inventory changes in our ERP system
• Managing and optimizing inventory tracking mechanisms in our company owned yards and enforcing best-practice inventory management tactics in our third-party yards

Travel Requirement:

• Travel is local in Houston with exception of ~1 overnight per month in North Texas or Louisiana

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $79,500.00 per year
