We have an immediate opening for a qualified Medical Assistant to fill a full-time position at our Winter Park location. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with rotating weekends & holidays. This is an exciting and challenging position with a practice that continues to grow.

Assignments include but not limited to:

• Facilitates patient flow in a timely manner
• Informs provider of schedule changes that impact patient flow
• Gathers information on new patients
• Measure vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, appropriately document findings in EMR
• Maintain exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and instruments; prepare and complete instrument sterilization as required.
• Assist MD with procedures and ultrasound and prepare patients for exams
• Provide support to the provider by anticipating provider needs
• Collaborate with nursing team to have patient questions and issues addressed promptly
• Triage, return phone calls and fields messages from patients, pharmacies, and office staff to physicians and/or nurses

Applicants must have excellent communications and computer skills; capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment; Candidate who is bi-lingual/multi-lingual is a Plus. Knowledge of women’s health is a Plus.
