Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. reporting patient history summary.
Saves physicians time by helping with office procedures
Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records;
Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about surgery.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Serves and protects the doctors practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Covington, LA 70433: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
