Job description

The Oral Surgery Assistant will work as part of a mobile team in general dental offices, and assist the Oral Surgeon with surgical procedures.

Will be working in Chicago and offices within a 40 mile radius.

Pay $25-30 an hour

Part time as needed hours

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Oral Surgeon with surgical procedures (i.e. suction, airway management, monitors, etc.)

· Prepare procedure rooms (along with our Anesthesia Coordinator)

· Greet and escort patients

· Help in turning over cases

· Enter accurate treatment notes

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

· 1+ years required oral surgery assistant

BLS is required

· Strong patient care orientation

· Experienced in working successfully as part of a care team (i.e. dealing with conflict, good relationships)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
