D&W Diesel is currently looking to add a Parts Clerk to our team in our Albany, New York location.This person would work closely with the service coordinator, processing drive in bay repairs and vehicle upfits. The position is Monday through Friday with weekends free.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the Service Coordinator in completing required repair authorization forms, invoices, and job tickets.
- Accurately and promptly issues purchase orders, and orders parts & units from Corporate Materials Management and outside vendors.
- Clarifies the customer service representatives’ and technicians’ expectations and due date.
- Research part numbers, prices, and availability when required for estimates.
- Handles all returned goods promptly and accurately
- Maintain shop inventory and shop supplies in a neat, orderly fashion
- Conduct periodic physical inventories.
- Detail-oriented
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate with part numbers and associated quantities
- Desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficiency with computers
- Experience in automotive industries & parts is preferred
