Are you a manufacturing production specialist looking for a great opportunity to lead for one of Austin's awarded Top Work Places?Everi is looking for a current Supervisor or someone with great experience looking to make a move into leadership. We're look for those with specific manufacturing experience leading assembly line shifts, ensuring execution of production activities and more!
What Will You Be Doing?
Lead assembly line shifts, ensuring execution of production activities and requirements; identifies resources needed in order to meet production needs, schedule, and expectations.
Identify and communicate information regarding product quality, defect prevention, product disposition, and repair activity to cross-functional teams; escalates concerns to management.
Assist in the resolution of part shortages or expediting product.
Responsible for setting and communicating daily objectives, ensuring alignment with department goals.
Lead continuous improvement activities impacting manufacturing processes, procedures, and production.
Develop continuous improvement methodologies.
Train and mentor less experienced team members.
Directs the work and manages the personnel issues of direct report employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff; recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
7-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing or related role; industry experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that is good with conflict management and possesses leadership qualities.
Proficiency in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
Ability to create product and testing processes and documentation
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Max Data Collection System
