Job description
Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, estimating, design, execution, monitoring, delegating, final auditing, closure, invoice approval, completion of projects and final invoicing. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize all project progress. Prepare weekly update reports for upper management regarding status of projects, as well as send weekly update reports to Clients regarding project status and up-to-date costs. Responsible for working directly as a seller with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the project scope and budget. Responsible for working directly as a project manager with the clients to ensure deliverables fall within the scope and budge and selling additional services to the client. Coordinate with all internal TGS Departments to ensure all aspects of each project are staffed accordingly to meet project needs and anticipated deadlines. Projects can include but are not limited to business development projects handled under the services of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Clarify with stakeholders and Clients the project scope, timelines, and objectives.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs and communicating with Client accordingly –
- Submit change orders into the accounting system when necessary
- Communicate and cultivate relationships with the client and stakeholder ‘s on a regular basis
- Perform high level project management functions without direct supervision
- Works with multiple departments to accomplish goals and objectives within budgetary guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Work with Department Managers and/or an approved TGS Estimator when creating project proposals
- All project proposals need to be approved by supervisor, up to 100K. If over 100K, then proposal will require approval by supervisor and executive level.
- Must be able to utilize Power BI, Aspire, Project Insight and other IT tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficiency with conflict management, decision making, planning and team building
- Provide single point of contact for customer interactions from inception of project to completion
- Facilitate product deliverables with no direct reporting structure to the shared services group

This job operates remotely, or in a professional office environment and in the field.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, plus some evening networking, trade show overnights and local business development.
Travel
Required as needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 to 5 years of equivalent work experience in the Energy sector or upstream/midstream/downstream oil and gas sector
- Project Management Professional certification preferred (PMP)
