Responsibilities

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for working with key stakeholders to refine existing processes related to revenue cycle activities to support overall revenue cycle goals, support and complete government audits, and reviews of CMS orders. This position will focus on the retrieval of financial and clinical information at the patient level including summarizing events to identify underlying trends, outcomes of care, and required audit data. This position requires an expert understanding of medical record data, risk, and severity adjustment systems. The analyst will support the production of indicators and reports incorporating measure of costs, clinical efficacy and health and service outcomes.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst must carry out his/her duties to the highest standard of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of CSH and fully supports CSH's Mission, Philosophy, and core values of Collaboration, Dignity, Excellence, Justice, and Stewardship.

Qualifications

Minimum:
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting is required.
  • 3 years analytical experience using analytical tools, computers and clinical and financial databases.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills are a must. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively. Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Preferred:
  • A BSN degree or experience equivalent preferred.
  • CM certification preferred.
  • Experience in utilization management, case management, and or managed care.

Pay Range
$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
