The Routing technician is responsible for optimizing routes, coordinating field operations activities, and is the primary point of contact for field team members.

Essential Functions:

• Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels and support organizational business objectives ensuring services are provided to customer’s expectations.
• Collects data and prepares analysis forecasting demand or predicting inventory needs.
• Collaborates with leadership and field operations on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements.
• Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
• Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
• Works with internal partners to provide training and follow up to workforce.
• Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
• Implements changes meant to improve efficiency and reduce costs associated with the logistics function

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of work experience preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, organizational skills and a proactive customer service approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and flexibility skills in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient with MS Office and tools including: Word, Excel, and Power Point
