Miller Transportation Group is looking to add a Senior Accountant to the truck leasing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling, mission-oriented company with a highly collaborative accounting team that values creative thinking, and knowledge-sharing.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manages a team of 5 direct reports, ensuring daily supervision, coaching and development of employees.
• Supports the overall cash management function for Miller Transportation Group.
• Prepares both short-term and long-term cash flow projections to support treasury planning.
• Reviews daily cash activity and provides regular analysis.
• Supports borrowing decisions and executes financing.
• Oversees corporate credit cards.
• Manages accounts receivable including the collections and cash applications processes.
• Contract review
• Assists in the automation and streamlining of our contracts department to support organizational growth.
• Establish and document policies, procedures and best practices across the department.
• Perform special projects and any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in in appropriate field of study preferably Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
• Must possess minimum 4+ years of experience in Accounting preferably in small to mid-size organizations
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership, supervision, and problem-solving skills with the ability to improve and implement change initiatives
• Ability to analyze situations objectively with a high degree of confidentiality, communicate in a neutral manner, display a high level of integrity and instill trust with team members and management
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including advanced knowledge of Excel
