Our Senior Marketing Manager role is responsible for the creation of marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies for vertical and/or line of business activities within Ricoh Americas. In this role, you will ensure strategic alignment across sales, portfolio management, and marketing in the development of revenue-driving initiatives, demand generation, and sales enablement tools. You will create, implement, and carry out strategic marketing plans and campaigns that encompass digital and non-digital activities as well as sales support materials such as webinars, events, tradeshows, direct mail, email, paid media, social media, lead nurturing, etc. The ideal candidate is a team player with a creative approach who works cross-functionally with operations, sales, and portfolio management to ensure that best practices are included into campaign design. The Senior Marketing Manager – Retail Vertical will stay abreast of customer trends, act as a subject matter expert, and be able to define Ricoh's value proposition in the sector convincingly

  • Assist the GTM Marketing & Campaign Strategy Director in the execution of the sector's overarching message, thought leadership, sponsorship, events, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with agencies, sales, portfolio management, marketing, and other departments to support business initiatives and ensure marketing campaigns are fully integrated by employing a variety of creative methods, e.g., multi-channel digital programs, search engine optimization, account-based marketing, etc.
  • Translates business goals and objectives into audience- specific content marketing that delivers engagement, leads and pipeline.
  • Drive marketing strategy, KPI and goal setting, and digital best practices across the team. Deliver marketing qualified leads (MQLs) that ultimately convert into sales qualified leads (SQLs) via optimization of inbound marketing efforts, including SEM/SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Directs campaign implementation in the marketing automation platform and CRM system.
  • Enforces brand guidelines, ensuring marketing communications meet company brand and legal requirements.
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate, and analyze the efficacy of marketing campaigns and utilize this data to redesign/change strategic campaign initiatives
  • Uses research and audience insight to develop key marketing messages
  • Engages, and shares knowledge and skills, with the marketing team to provide continued awareness of marketing best practices and methodology to ensure that Ricoh is always bench-marking against world class standards.
  • Serves as liaison across departments and functional groups to ensure marketing campaigns are integrated across the company as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with sales operations, field marketing, and channel marketing to provide visibility to marketing campaigns, processes, tools, and reports
  • Performs market research and analytics
  • Leverage insights and data to articulate product value prop in compelling marketing platforms that can be subsequently adapted and tailored to each market needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, consumer intelligence, and the competitive environment to build and implement attractive marketing programs that are tailored to the target persona
  • Define project scope and objectives; identify resources needed reach business objectives and manage resources/projects in an effective and efficient manner
  • Provide consistent updates to project stakeholders about strategy, adaptations, and progress
  • Maintain an integrated marketing calendar aligning campaigns with product launches, seasonality, etc.
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; collaborate with content team to translate strategies outlined in creative briefs into engaging concepts and copy for various business units and clients; generate creative concepts that support marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • 4-year college degree (Marketing) other related course or certificates or equivalent years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related retail marketing, CPG, or industry role.
  • Digital marketing experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications Deep knowledge of digital marketing tactics including social media advertising, paid search, programmatic display, web, and email.
  • Strategy development – experience defining, planning and shaping strategies and initiatives, as well as execution.
  • Excellent writing and proofing skills required.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills. Exhibits the ability to communicate upwards and downwards to influence decisions and actions.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and execute them according to scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Ability to collaborate between and within teams and/or groups.

Additional Pay Details:

Compensation range is $87,000 - $120,000 Position is bonus eligible.
