Caliber Accounting & Tax, LLP is actively seeking highly motivated CPAs to fill available reviewer positions as senior, supervisor, and manager tax accountants. Reviewers collaborate with staff, seniors/supervisors, managers, and partners on all aspects of engagements for a variety of clients across a wide range of industries. Two locations: Eagan, MN and Pismo Beach, CA with flexibility to work remotely.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervise and review tax return preparation and planning engagements
- Resolve routine to complex accounting and tax problems
- Develop, manage and train staff accountants
- Communicate directly with taxing authority representatives
- Interact with clients via meetings, telephone, letters and email
- Monitor budgets by maintaining control on time and charges
- Recommend billing to supervisor, manager or partner on engagement
- Proficient at tax research
- Familiar with pertinent sections of the IRC and regulations
- Able to operate in a paperless workplace and strong computer skills
- Applicants should be proactive and client service oriented
- Expectation of effective communication skills and professionalism
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ProSystem Fx, and RIA Checkpoint
