Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include some or all of the following.
- Management & supervision of Service Department personnel
- Communicate with customers to schedule and dispatch field service technicians.
- Maintain and monitor detailed records of time and performance of Service employees
- Monitor and schedule preventative maintenance of rental equipment
- Order and maintain inventory of shop tools and supplies
- Assists in recruiting and hiring qualified service department personnel
- Act as site safety supervisor in conjunction with Branch Manager
- Monitor service technician training and schedule on and off-site training as required
- Ensure that all customer satisfaction needs are met in accordance with company policy
Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:
- Two-year certificate from technical college or trade school or five years of related service management experience desired. Strong business acumen and PC proficiency required, particularly in MS Office applications. Excellent organizational skills. Customer Service based mentality. Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Physical Requirements:
- Average to heavy lifting, requires standing, walking, lifting climbing and other shop related activities
