JBAndrews are currently working with an established Women’s Health biotech company based in the US who are transforming cancer detection. As they continue to succeed and expand, they are looking for a Technical Accountant to join their team and play an integral role in the Financial Reporting team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical research and ensure that appropriate GAAP accounting treatment is performed
- Oversee all aspects of SEC compliance efforts e.g. coordination, prep and analysis of financial statement filings, including press releases which comply with GAAP and SEC requirements
- Provide technical accounting support for debt / intercompany transactions
- Work on SOX compliance program
- Assist with annual global benefits budget reporting
Requirements:
- Must have a CPA
- Must have experience in SEC public filings (e.g. 10Q/K, audit and compliance)
- Experience working in a Big 4 CPA firm
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial statements
