General Summary: The Data Specialist reports to the PHC CEO (Project Coordinator) and will assist in the collection of data and survey responses. The Data specialist will also perform other administrative tasks such as documenting meeting minutes and maintaining meeting calendars.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the collection of participant survey data and program data for Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Block Grant
  • Accurate and timely entry of collected data into monthly portal
  • Attend and take meeting minutes at coalition meetings
  • Schedules meetings and maintains office calendar of activities and appointments for grant activities including prevention fairs, prevention campaigns, and prevention education activities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and prepare supporting documents for trainings and other special events for Community Health Workers
  • Research and compiles information necessary for meetings, reports, proposals, and special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – HS Diploma or GED plus some college credits required
Experience – At least 1 year of general work experience required.

Regulatory –
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • DPS Level I fingerprint clearance (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
  • Current, valid Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements, if required.
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
