Summary
The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR Manager by assisting with various Human Resources tasks (recruiting, onboarding, contracting, and benefits).

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must live within commuting distance of Southern Pines, NC.
- One year of administrative or HR experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manuals, and written directions
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Must be able to write with professionalism
- Must be organized, accurate, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be dependable, follow instructions, and able to improve performance through feedback
- Good interpersonal skills and a good listener
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of administrative processes, forms, and contracts
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook software programs
- Ability to learn and work with different technology systems (Employee Management, File Storage, Project Management)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Willingness and ability to be flexible and pivot as priorities change
Essential Functions
- Assist with the recruiting and onboarding of employees
- Assist with tracking online Child Safety Training and Background Checks for the field team
- Audit billing for employee benefits
- Scanning and filing
- Assist with tasks related to the new Human Resources Management System implementation
- Assist with significant projects, such as Contracting, Seasonal Hiring, and Open Enrollment.
- Communicate and model the Classical Conversations Core Values – Grace, Humility, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned

$13.00 per hour
