Sexton Test Prep & Tutoring is currently looking to fill increasing demand by hiring new team members in the following areas:

• Standardized Test Preparation [ISEE/SSAT, and/or SAT/ACT & AP]
• Academic & Enrichment Tutoring [Middle & High School Level]

Candidates must reside in Massachusetts and have access to a personal vehicle for in-person tutoring. Candidates will also be able to commit to at least one year of employment.

Sexton Test Prep & Tutoring began in 2005 with an independent tutor who gave one-on-one tutoring a try after graduating from college. Since starting with a single student, we have served thousands of clients.

Our company is based in Dover, MA. We currently serve students all over the world, with an in-person focus in the towns of Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Wellesley, Westwood, Wayland, and Weston. Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person (in-home) and virtual one-on-one tutoring to individual students as requested
• Communicate regularly by phone and email with current clients regarding student progress
• Communicate by phone and email with supervisor
• 6 - 10 hours per week commitment
• Other duties as willing and able

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must live in Massachusetts, have access to a reliable personal vehicle, and a willingness to travel around the MetroWest Boston region
• Must also have a personal computer with reliable internet access.
• Fluency in English
• At least two to five years of teaching or tutoring experience - classroom teaching experience is preferred
• Consistent afternoon, evening, and weekend availability
• Some scheduling flexibility (to accommodate student need). Some daytime availalbity for summer 2023 is a plus.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, plus a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Previous, demonstrated, and recent test preparation experience
• Demonstrated superior subject knowledge and commitment to student success
• Ability to effectively deliver curriculum
• Strong critical thinking skills and organizational abilities
• A patient, positive, encouraging, and engaging approach

Compensation:

Starting at $55/hour
