In this position, you will:

  • Provide end-user support and assist with incidents and service requests.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and Operating Systems.
  • Support the Point-of-Sale system and other line of business applications.
  • Identify, analyze, and repair service failures, order and replace parts as needed.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems.
  • Perform system backups and recovery.
  • Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Mobile device management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge base spanning networking and server infrastructure.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the team.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well with limited direction.
  • Work efficiently and accurately to always present a professional image to customers/clients and technology partners.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

  • 5-10 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Experience with:
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
  • Domain Name Services (DNS)
  • Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016
  • SAN and VMWare administration
  • Cyber Security software / Firewalls
  • Enterprise Wireless
  • Networking / Routing and switching
  • VoIP Phone System

Work Schedule/Travel:

  • This is an onsite position in New Rochelle, New York.
  • Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • In addition to the normal work shifts, you must periodically be able to work on-call, after-hours, and holidays, if required.

Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work – Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
